Tom Bewick

Tom Bewick is the international project manager for our current Ghana project. Formerly the Peru director for Rainforest Foundation US, Bewick designed, managed and implemented the indigenous information into action model highlighted in the PNAS study. Bewick has worked with hundreds of indigenous and forest communities from Southeast Asia to South America over the past 20 years, and will facilitate the Peru-Ghana exchange and the transfer of technology from Peru to Ghana and beyond.

Tom speaks Spanish and Indonesian, has an LLM in International Human Rights Law from the University of Nottingham, a Master’s in Education from Fordham University and a BA in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
