The Sustainable Development Institute (SDI) works to transform decision-making processes in relation to natural resources and to promote equity in the sharing of benefits derived from these resources. The organization’s vision is a Liberia in which natural resource management is guided by the principles of sustainability and good governance. In 2006 SDI received the Goldman Environmental Prize.
