We\u2019re excited you have decided to organise a screening of an If Not Us Then Who film.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This page is designed to help you think about your event planning to make sure it\u2019s a success.<\/p>\n

Getting started<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Select a film or two that resonate with you most, or are most relevant to your studies or your passions. <\/li>\n
  2. Take a look at our partner films as well, we do not have as much supporting content at this time but can help put you in touch with the right group.<\/li>\n
  3. Think about who you would like to show these films to, your family? Your fellow students? Your community? Your work? Consumers?\u00a0Remember it is often more effective to aim for a smaller but engaged group.<\/li>\n
  4. How much time and resources do you have to put into this? You probably are working or studying and organising screenings is not your full time job! Be realistic about the time you can invest in organising a screening, maybe find a friend or colleague to help you.<\/li>\n
  5. Do you have a budget? We only have a limited budget to support screenings at this time. It is very possible to host an engaging and effective event with minimal cost but it does take some planning.<\/li>\n
  6. Think about what venue or location might be the best place to reach the people you want to target? It could be something as simple as your university hall or your lounge. Or you could approach different community buildings to see if they will host a free screening. Perhaps a library, a local cafe, some restaurants have private rooms you can book. Are there already regular screenings taking place where you could submit the films or theme? Get creative. \n

    1. Is the venue easily accessible?<\/li>\n
    2. Do you need to borrow a projector or does the venue provide it?<\/li>\n
    3. Screenings often work better with less natural light, if your event is outdoors, perhaps think about an evening event.<\/li>\n
    4. What is the sound quality like?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Consejos de promoci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h3>\n

        1. H\u00e1blale a todo el mundo de tu evento. Ahora que ya lo tienes todo confirmado, es hora de informar a la gente. Recuerda dedicar todo el tiempo posible a esta tarea, ya que a menudo resulta ser la parte m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil.<\/li>\n
        2. Dise\u00f1a carteles tanto para versi\u00f3n electr\u00f3nica como impresa. En If Not Us Then Who hemos creado una serie de plantillas con nuestra marca que contienen diferentes im\u00e1genes que puedes utilizar en tu evento.<\/li>\n
        3. Crea un evento en Facebook y a\u00f1\u00e1denos como organizadores: intentaremos difundirlo entre el p\u00fablico de tu zona. No te olvides de compartir el evento y pedir a tus amigos que lo compartan tambi\u00e9n.<\/li>\n
        4. Crea una p\u00e1gina en Eventbrite.<\/li>\n
        5. Crea un evento en Calendar e invita a tus compa\u00f1eros de trabajo. \u00a1Recuerda programar la notificaci\u00f3n para el recordatorio!<\/li>\n
        6. Contacta con la prensa y la radio locales.<\/li>\n
        7. Invita a algunos periodistas de la zona.<\/li>\n
        8. Publica tu evento en diferentes p\u00e1ginas de anuncios.<\/li>\n
        9. No te olvides de mandar correos electr\u00f3nicos. \u00a1Las viejas t\u00e9cnicas son las que mejor suelen funcionar!<\/li>\n
        10. Utiliza el hashtag #ifnotusthenwho en tus redes sociales para que compartamos el evento tambi\u00e9n nosotros.<\/li>\n
        11. Unos d\u00edas antes del evento, recuerda confirmar toda la informaci\u00f3n log\u00edstica y calcular los n\u00fameros.<\/li>\n
        12. El d\u00eda del evento, haz fotos durante las tareas de organizaci\u00f3n para ir creando expectativa y comp\u00e1rtelas con el hashtag #ifnotusthenwho.
