Estamos organizando una gira internacional para mostrar nuestro material audiovisual a nuevos p\u00fablicos y crear un movimiento de apoyo a la lucha ind\u00edgena por la protecci\u00f3n de los bosques.<\/p>\n
Desde que empezamos este proyecto en septiembre de 2014, hemos organizado 15 eventos en 9 pa\u00edses, incluida la COP21 de Par\u00eds, en la que 195 pa\u00edses firmaron el primer acuerdo sobre el clima legalmente vinculante a nivel universal e internacional. Nuestros eventos han pasado por EE. UU., Per\u00fa, Indonesia, Alemania, Francia, M\u00e9xico, Londres, etc., y en ellos se han llevado a cabo exposiciones de fotograf\u00eda, ruedas de prensa, eventos musicales, espacios art\u00edsticos, proyecciones audiovisuales, realidad virtual y coloquios de alto nivel. Queremos que la gente conecte a nivel emocional e intelectual con los protagonistas de nuestras historias. A trav\u00e9s de la campa\u00f1a de sensibilizaci\u00f3n If Not Us Then Who? queremos crear un espacio en el que diversos expertos, responsables de tomas de decisiones y el p\u00fablico general puedan generar opiniones que inspiren a otros y desarrollar relaciones duraderas en el tiempo.<\/p>\n
En 2016, organizamos eventos para la Semana de la Tierra en Nueva York y la firma del Acuerdo de Par\u00eds. Tambi\u00e9n organizamos eventos en Ciudad de M\u00e9xico y Canc\u00fan durante la Conferencia de las Naciones Unidas sobre Biodiversidad de la COP13 para sensibilizar a la gente sobre el papel que desempe\u00f1an los pueblos ind\u00edgenas y las comunidades locales en la protecci\u00f3n de la biodiversidad mundial.<\/p>\n
En 2017, apoyamos diferentes eventos organizados por nuestros socios en Indonesia y Brasil, y capacitamos a j\u00f3venes ind\u00edgenas de M\u00e9xico e Indonesia para que pudieran desarrollar destrezas de producci\u00f3n audiovisual y contar su historia por s\u00ed mismos. Despu\u00e9s, terminamos el a\u00f1o con una ambiciosa gira en autocar hacia Bonn, en la que paramos en 7 ciudades europeas para difundir su mensaje.<\/p>\n
En 2018, organizamos nuestro Rinc\u00f3n Comunitario m\u00e1s ambicioso en San Francisco, muy cerca de la Cumbre sobre la Acci\u00f3n Clim\u00e1tica. Este evento dur\u00f3 4 d\u00edas y fue organizado junto con Hip Hop Caucus (se publicar\u00e1 m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s adelante). Tambi\u00e9n hemos iniciado proyectos de desarrollo de capacidades en apoyo de las capacitaciones sobre narraci\u00f3n y audiovisuales en M\u00e9xico, Panam\u00e1 e Indonesia.<\/p>\n
Nuestro objetivo final es captar la atenci\u00f3n del p\u00fablico hacia el problema de la deforestaci\u00f3n y las soluciones de las comunidades y presionar a los gobiernos para que cumplan sus compromisos en la paliaci\u00f3n del cambio clim\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n
