El 08 de marzo es un d\u00eda que muchas personas\u00a0han confundido para agasajar a las mujeres. No digo que est\u00e1 mal que nos agasajen, sin embargo, este d\u00eda debe ser un d\u00eda de an\u00e1lisis y de evaluar cu\u00e1nto hemos avanzado como mujeres, hombres, gobiernos y poblaci\u00f3n en general en apoyar y facilitar condiciones para el ejercicio real de\u00a0 los derecho de las MUJERES.\u00a0El 08 de marzo debe ser un d\u00eda para trazar nuevos compromisos de\u00a0lucha junto a las mujeres y es un d\u00eda para unirnos a las marchas donde muchas mujeres unimos la voz para exigir respeto a nuestros derechos.<\/p>\n

Las mujeres ind\u00edgenas, campesinas y pesqueras guatemaltecas y de varios pa\u00edses del mundo ejercemos un papel importante en la vida y en la permanencia de un medio ambiente sano. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9?, desde nuestros hogares hasta el campo trabajamos arduamente junto a nuestros hijos e hijas, trasladando conocimientos de las abuelas en el cuidado de una semilla para la siembra y el respeto que se debe tener al ma\u00edz por ejemplo.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00abSi ves un ma\u00edz en el suelo lev\u00e1ntalo que es sagrado\u00bb
\n\u00abHoy hubo fuertes vientos hoy \u00a0habr\u00e1 mucha le\u00f1a que debemos traer al hogar\u00bb
\n\u00abEsta \u00e9poca es buena para recoger semillas\u00bb<\/p>\n

Estos son frases que tengo grabadas en la memoria de mis abuelas y abuelos, lo repiten una y otra vez varias\u00a0ancianas, a d\u00f3nde quiera que voy.<\/p>\n

Estos conocimientos son trasladados y aplicados en las comunidades y familias especialmente por las mujeres.<\/p>\n

\"-\"<\/figure>

En Totonicap\u00e1n, Occidente del pa\u00eds, \u00a0por ejemplo, las mujeres mayas K’iche’ de las Parcialidades son parte importante en las rondas y patrullajes en los bosques para que los taladores ilegales que son depredadores no ingresen. Ellas son parte importante de las temporadas de reforestaci\u00f3n y cuidado del Pinabete especie en peligro de \u00abextinci\u00f3n\u00bb anualmente.<\/p>\n

Paulina Par, una mujer que ejerci\u00f3 por dos a\u00f1os la presidencia de su comunidad (Parcialidad Baquiax), con aquella firmeza y energ\u00eda me cont\u00f3 en el a\u00f1o 2015 c\u00f3mo arriesg\u00f3 su vida en una madrugada, ella y cinco personas m\u00e1s que hac\u00edan ronda en el bosque de su Parcialidad lograron capturar a uno de los depredadores que se encontraban esa noche en el\u00a0bosque. Con sentimiento de dolor e impotencia ella recuerda \u00abver caer aquellos hermosos \u00e1rboles derribados con moto sierras (Maquinas de cortes de \u00e1rboles de grandes di\u00e1metros).\u00bb Estos retos como muchos otros fortalecieron su amor y lucha por defender su territorio y bosques.<\/p>\n

Las mujeres mayas Q’anjob’ales de Santa Eulalia Huehuetenango, conservan y siguen rescatando semillas nativas de las diferentes especies de \u00e1rboles que est\u00e1n por desaparecer en la regi\u00f3n. Por su lado las mujeres Q’eqchi’ de Semuc Champey del Norte del pa\u00eds, defienden sus tierras y esas bellas aguas como si defendieran a sus propios hijos, tierras que hoy est\u00e1n en manos del Consejo Nacional de \u00c1reas Protegidas.\u00a0Ellas arriesgan su vida sin importar que su vida corra peligro, ya que el gobierno lo \u00fanico inteligente que puede hacer es mandar hombres armados para desalojarlas, porque les es imposible razonar y entender el respeto que deben tener por el derecho de los pueblos y las mujeres.<\/p>\n

Veamos en la Costa Sur de Guatemala, las mujeres se enfrentan a las empresas azucareras, palma de aceite, palma africana entre otras empresas para defender sus tierras, poner un alto a la devastaci\u00f3n de los manglares y bosque. Un alto a la contaminaci\u00f3n y desv\u00edo de sus r\u00edos donde ellas y sus esposos pescan para alimentar a su familia y tener un ingreso econ\u00f3mico.<\/p>\n

Este 08 de marzo \u00a0las mujeres de toda Guatemala alzan la voz diciendo:<\/p>\n

\n

\u00abAlto a la violaci\u00f3n de nuestros derechos, alto a la persecuci\u00f3n de a las mujeres, exigimos restituci\u00f3n de nuestras tierras, respeto a un ambiente sano y queremos que nuestros r\u00edos recorran su camino de nuevo\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Las mujeres hemos\u00a0trabajado arduamente desde varios siglos, lamentablemente el\u00a0machismo, el propio sistema del pa\u00eds y otras barreras\u00a0han invisibilizado esta labor. \u00a1El sistema, los gobiernos y autoridades que en su mayor\u00eda son hombres a\u00fan luchan por callar a las mujeres, nos oprimen, nos desprestigian y nos matan! Es doloroso leer las noticias a diario d\u00f3nde vemos 2 o 3 mujeres muertas por ser lideresas, por luchar por los derechos y defender su territorio o por el simple hecho de ser mujer, mueren\u00a0en manos del marido, del militar, de la autoridad o del gobierno.<\/p>\n

Ser mujer es dif\u00edcil, somos saqueadas como la madre tierra es saqueada, ultrajada y destruida por ambici\u00f3n del ser humano. Soy mujer, a\u00fan con \u00e9stos obst\u00e1culos puedo decir que somos fuerza, firmeza, lucha, voz de muchas que no tienen la oportunidad, esperanza y el sacrificio. Lucho para que mi hija tenga un presente y ma\u00f1ana mejor. \u00a0Mi madre Elena es una mujer que me ha impulsado a seguir adelante con su ejemplo, ha buscado lo mejor para sus hijas e hijos, y sin importar el sacrificio personal, logr\u00f3 que nuestras mentes fueran m\u00e1s all\u00e1 solo de ser una m\u00e1s\u00a0en la sociedad.<\/p>\n
