Sia Ngedau

Sia Ngedau is a 42-year-old father of 4 children and lives in one of the Penan Peace Park villages. When asked about the future of his region, he’s quick to explain a positive vision of sustainable development that the park could enable. Keen to help his community, he joined a delegation of Penan representatives to try and present their proposal to the state government. As yet, the government has refused to discuss the initiative.
