She is the co-writer and one of the directors of the highly anticipated Walt Disney Animated Studios’ Moana 2, opening only in theaters November 27, 2024. Joined by Maui and a brand-new crew of unlikely seafarers, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced.
Following Moana 2, Ledoux Miller will be involved in Moana the live action film, heading to theaters July 10, 2026, where Catherine Laga‘aia joins Dwayne Johnson, who will reprise his role as the beloved Maui, in the oceanic adventure.
Most recently, she was co-showrunner of Netflix’s Thai Cave Rescue limited series produced by SKG and Jon M. Chu. Previously, she was an Executive Producer on Last Resort for Seven Bucks Productions and Feigco Entertainment as part of the Break the Room Initiative and set up at Quibi. Prior to that, she has written for AMC’s Kevin Can Fck Himself* and Lodge 49, as well as ABC’s Designated Survivor, Netflix’s Narcos, and HBO’s The Newsroom. Ledoux Miller also co-founded the non-profit Pasifika Entertainment Advancement Komiti (PEAK). She is a graduate of the University of Hawai’i at Manoa.
