Bertha Pech

Meet Bertha, Mayan Indigenous from Yucatan, Mexico. She is a university professor at the National Autonomous University of Mexico teaching pedagogy, education and Mayan language. She graduated in Education from the Autonomous University of Yucatán and Bachelor in Primary Education for the Indigenous Environment by the National Pedagogical University, Mérida. Her classroom experience is in higher education, research and advising teachers on issues of intercultural education, gender, peace education, Mayan language, and intercultural development and management. She currently collaborates as a teacher in the degree in educational intervention in the line of educational management at the National Pedagogical University.
