Elisa is a Waorani woman, born on May 10, 1994, in the province of Pastaza, Canton Arajuno, the fifth daughter of the household formed by Luis Antonio Enqueri Nemunda and Omene Ima Conta. She is part of the leadership of Amazonian women (all communities), as well as part of Waorani youth leadership, which are groups formed to promote and focus on women from an equal and equitable point of view within the communities. She’s currently working on the Yawe Film project, which was created with the purpose of making the culture and cosmovision of the Waorani ethnic group known to the world. With much humility she is part of and is a spokesperson leader of the popular consultation 2023, Yasuni case. She is Waorani woman leader of the community and participates in different social aspects of the fight against climate change, with local organizations, NGOs. She lives in the Waorani community Titepare, her favorites are bird songs and the songs of her grandparents Pikenani. She likes to make voice recordings.
