Isabela Santana is a Pataxó actress, producer and communicator who believes art is a powerful tool for identity and cultural strengthening. Her roots are the starting point and guide of her creative processes and projects. She is co-founder and coordinator of Visibilidade Indígena (VI), an indigenous digital media that reinforces the pluralities and resistance of indigenous peoples through culture, contemporary art, cinema, literature, education and worldwide events. She is currently the administrator of the Emerging Filmmakers Program at If Not Us Then Who?, and has experience in event production, project management and media coverage, while simultaneously walking in the artistic world.
