Walter Velasque

CONAIE Collective

Walter Velasque is from the Kichuwa Panzaleo people and he has worked over 4 years in the defense and care of ancestral territories through communications. He is currently a member of the Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities of Ecuador (CONAIE). In CONAIE, he has been able to travel the Coast, Highlands and Amazonia getting to know the realities of each territory and in the communication department he works in producing materials in defense of Indigenous Peoples.
