Welder Ramirez

Welder is a Guatemalan citizen and resident of the community Cruce a La Colorada, which holds a concession that allows the sustainable management of the forest named Asociación Forestal Integral Cruce a La Colorada (AFICC), located North of the Peten department, in the Maya Biosphere Reserve.

He is one of the youngsters that began to study community communication in 2015 and attended workshops related to photography & editing, video recording & editing, interviewing and writing. Since then, he has assisted the headquarters of the Forest Community Association of Peten (ACOFOP), where he provides visual materials of work conducted in forest communities.
