Adam Spencer

Adam Spencer is the Co-President of Filmmakers for Conservation, whose mission is to “Inspire filmmakers to use their media to conserve the natural world.” He has worked with non-profit environmental organizations throughout South and Central America and in West Africa. After becoming friends with Edgar Sermeño Durand, he learned of his life-transforming adventure and helped him tell his story through video. Spencer is based in Washington, D.C. and is reaching out to NGOs who work in the Amazon and Peru to try to find a course for the people of Hawai Nuevo Amanecer.
