Growing up in Oklahoma, storytelling, whether around a campfire or on a long road trip, was always in integral part of Kelby’s life. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies from University of California – Davis in 2011 and a Master of Fine Arts from University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts 2014, Kelby has produced films for campaigns spanning multiple issues including LGBT rights, Autism and disability advocacy, the UN World Food Program, and the Stanford Jewish Institute. Behind the camera at If Not Us Then Who, Kelby hopes to continue to shine a light on the indigenous champions protecting our forests.
